Thirst for "knowledge"???

Strolled into my coworkers cube today for a quick discussion, and couldn't help but notice that on his computer screen in the background, he had just done a Google search for "knowledge". Nothing else, no other search terms. Just 185,000,000 search results for "knowledge".

I wonder what exactly he was looking for ... and whether he found it?

Nothing wrong with searching for knowledge. But in the long run, he'd be better off looking for wisdom, I think.

I don't know if you have a site tracker that lets you see where your site visitors come from. I do. It's hilarious what people search for to ultimately get to my site. It's even more hilarious that my site is often the first one Google pops up for such searches. "Jesus car shifter" is one search string I see again and again. I have no idea why my site has been deemed a good match for that string, or why someone would search for it, but it is, and they do.

So, does your coworker suffer from macular degeneration or are you just nosy?

Nathan - I'm just nosy :-) It also doesn't hurt that said coworker has a huge 19" monitor. Plus, we're working very closely together on our current project, so we're constantly poking our noses into each others work.

Jim - maybe it's something to do with that Ministry song "Jesus Built My Hotrod"? OK, that's a stretch, but it's the best I could come up with.
